The Nadjeshda Childrens' Centre... is home for 60 children and teenagers, aged between 2 and 21 years. Today the Nadjeshda Childrens' Centre consists of:
Training and education courses for staff, some of these also open to parents, are held regularly in the Childrens' Centre. The children travel to the school in a bus donated to the centre by the "Friends of the Educational Philosophy of Rudolf Steiner" and the German Government. In the school the children don't only learn reading and writing, they sing, learn to play the flute, paint, or make pottery, and are introduced to the various forms of Kyrgyzian and Russian handicraft, such as working with felt and wood. |
